SNAKES

Steve has a passion for snakes and a wealth of knowledge on their behaviours.

The biggest snake owned by Steve is a 14ft Burmese Python, which is capable of eating a labrador. The species can pack a nasty bite, but having been raised by Steve, the enormous reptile is docile and happy to be held.

Very often, people will come to Steve for help and advice on keeping their snakes - Steve recommends that people have an entire "spare room or cellar" set aside for Burmese Pythons, which can reach lengths of over 20ft.

"I'm not scared!"

Steve believes that children should be introduced to exotic animals from a young age, in order to prevent them being afraid of "the unknown" later on in life.

Here, at a charity event, son Alex is happy to play with the snakes without fear!
